Will the service remain free of charge?
Yes, a free version of Stribe will always be available. What's more, if you subscribed to a Premium offer, or tested it during a trial period, you can still choose to downgrade to the free version at any time.

Is the Stribe service secure and safe to use?
We are very committed to providing a safe social experience for users, websites and businesses. We always apply the state-of-the-art, best practices of the current Web industry to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data flowing through our service.
We provide moderation and filtering tools to users, webmasters and community managers to enable them to enforce safe usage rules in their communities. Our terms of use forbid unsafe usage, we comply with legal requirements, and we are very reactive when it comes to helping and protecting our users.

What data is public? What data is private?
The open nature of a service like that offered by Stribe and its partners in the social Web implies that the people who use them choose to share some data with others, sometimes publicly. Our goal is to keep a minimum level of service availability of 99.9%. How does Stribe integrate into my website (content integration, screen estate...)?
Stribe can be displayed in various locations on your web page: integrated like a widget inside a div element of your page, docked with notifications on the top-right or bottom-right, and/or fully opened by default on the right of the screen. You don't even need to modify your web pages' HTML code to change these settings; just add a single JavaScript code to your web pages and then select your preferred integration option in your website settings on stribe.com.
We understand that webpage integration and screen estate are critical issues, and it is our #1 priority to provide you with the very best integration solutions. How do you avoid increasing the loading time of web pages?
The Stribe JavaScript code that you include in your pages uses a two-step, asynchronous loading mechanism to ensure that your visitors' browsers can load all the assets and create the web page environment without waiting for Stribe to load. This way, you can safely include Stribe in your website while knowing that it will not have any impact on your web pages' initial loading time.

Which browsers do you support?
We support all common browsers, including Firefox 3, Chrome, Safari 4, Opera 11 and Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8 (yes, you read it right, even IE6!) with Flash Player 9 or 10.
- Does Stribe work well with mobile phones?
The Stribe.com website is compatible with mobile phone browsers (including those on the iPhone and Android). The Stribe application that you include in your website is currently compatible with mobile phones that supports Flash 9+, which is, or will very soon be, on all modern phones, including Android versions. We are also working on a non-Flash version which will enable Stribe to be displayed on iPhones.
